  1. The Housewives were at some touristy bar called The Fat Turtle, which is why Ramona called drunky times “turtle time.”

I always thought “The Circle” referred to the cast of the show…as in, “If you piss me off, you’ll be out of The Circle/off the show.” Same thing for the freezing out…if the other housewives refuse to film with one of them, that one is going to get less air time and is unlikely to be asked back. That’s allegedly what happened to the Skelator protitution whore one on RHONJ (can’t think of her name right now).

The funny thing (well, one of the many funny things) about the Mean Tweets episode is that Jill making an issue of Simon being friends with that “cyber bully” was the best thing that ever happened to that chick’s traffic. I read the cast blogs after that episode, and one of them (can’t remember which) gave enough info to easily find the blog and blogger in question. I cannot be the only one who looked for it after that episode. You really have to wonder if Jill intentionally did that, so as to get sympathy because boo-hoo-there’s-an-I-hate-Jill-Zarin blog out there. Since she was called a bully last season, she has to work to cast herself as the victim now so that fans will still like her.

I think you might be right about the freezing out thing. I’m not so sure about The Circle, though, because Tami on Basketball Wives was yelling, in the midst of a fight, “You ain’t never going to be a part of The Circle,” etc., to another cast member, who is clearly on the show, along with three other women who are on the show but who actively talk about not being a part of The Circle. But maybe being in The Circle guarantees a lot of airtime, whereas being outside of it makes this riskier? That show, though, would not exist without having The Circle and those who are Outside of The Circle, because there would be no fighting otherwise.

I cannot believe I have invested this much time in this, either.

I watched the second season of Basketball Wives, but I have not watched the third. I actually remember Tami from The Real World (and I never remember ANYBODY from ANYTHING). Couldn’t stand her then, still can’t. But I am not surprised she’s back for season three, because like all of the real stars of these shows, she’s one where you just add alcohol and point the camera at her and you’re all set.

Yeah, the turtle time thing is from the episode last year on Scary Island where they went on shore to a club to dance called the Fat Turtle, and Ramona, all grigioed out, screams, “It’s Turtle Time.” And does some drunken dance, which Bravo Andy played over and over again, so it has become a kind of code for Ramona’s drunken escapades. Or when Ramona chooses pinot grigio over, well, anything. I guess it’s Turtle Time. Also, I think technically, Kelly Bensimon said that Alex better watch out for she was going to get “iced” out of the group. Ouch.

The whole bully concept on any Housewife john makes me think of the Princess Bride, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. “

I absolutely love Mob Wives. And I hate that I love it, but I can’t look away from some good crazy. Dear god, are those women crazy.
