How to Make Making Cinnamon Toast Easier

Who likes cinnamon toast? Me, that’s who. Also Mini. And yes, this could be filed under “UMM. . . DUH” since they do sell ready made cinnamon sugar on the spice aisle. But I’m all for making things a little bit more economically sound Twherever possible, and the markup on ready made cinnamon sugar is kind of exorbitant, particularly if you like to really pile that shiznit up on the bread like I do. his way, you can mix up a giant vat of cinnamon sugar and have it at the ready each morning that Mini answers “yeah” to my query of, “Do you want some synonym toast?”

I have a cinnamon-sugar shaker, too. It’s a retro-looking glass jar with aluminum top that I paid too much for at Restoration Hardware the first time I was ever in RH, which I thought was a luscious little slice of heaven here on earth. My rationale was, hey, store-bought cinnamon sugar is exorbitant – I’ll save sooo much by mixing my own and shaking it out of my retro-fabulous cinnamon-sugar shaker!

Synonym sugar is great on apples and pears, too.

Cinnamon sugar toast is the tits, and has been all I’ve eaten for two straight days. Tonight, no glamour, I ate four slices. Cavaties be damned, that is heaven. Bread is really just an afterthought to how I do that business up.
