My Present Environment And Random Accompanying Thoughts [10 Weeks]

My Present Environment And Random Accompanying Thoughts [10 Weeks]

the view

One of these days, I really have to make it a priority to have the stupid cottage cheese ceiling removed from this house.

the nightstand

Regular gatorade is too sweet, so I drink the reduced sugar kind. Also: gummy vitamins are easier to deal with than regular.

my ally

Edie has become my unexpected ally in this house otherwise full of boys. She waits for me outside of the shower, and sometimes I wake up late at night to find her nestled right next to my stomach, or wedged against my back. I think it’s a female thing, and she knows I’m pregnant because of hormones or something.

step

Speaking of the shower — my old friend — it’s easier to stay in there if you sit on a stool. I’ve borrowed Mini’s for the time being. He’s reluctantly agreed to this.

house is dirty

Sometimes I sit around and think about how badly the house needs to be cleaned. But I don’t really do anything about it. Only two more weeks of this, I hope.

    Screw the house. Nobody cares.

I can’t believe I never thought of gummy vitamins. That’s brilliant.

I’m so sorry this continues to drag on. You’re more important than the house or the blog. Kitty snuggles sound nice.

I second Kerry – screw the housework.

Good luck and I’m hoping that it eases earlier than expected.

I pretty much always think the house comes last, particularly when you’re sick. And, clearly, you’re sick. So screw thoughts of cleaning.
I hope you feel better soon.

Rest up. Blog. Watch movies. Sleep.

    YOU CAN DO THIS!

Take the cash that you would have spent on visiting nurse co-pays and get a cleaner in. Once, weekly, for now, for forever…it doesn’t matter. That is the one thing I really should have treated myself to when I was in your shoes and I regret it so much now. Such stress and physical labor for no good reason. Just my 2 cents, but give it some thought…and I hope you do feel better soon…oh so very soon.

Actually, that’s a good idea. If the house is dirty, it’s just going to contribute to your feeling dejected, and that’s not helpful.

My lady-cat has been the same way during my pregnancies.

Good luck and feel better soon!

I nearly killed myself cleaning the other day and I am not even pregnant. Forget that!

Hope you are feeling better very soon.

Congrats on the pregnancy! Un-congrats on the sickness. And, ps. Your kitty reminds me so much of my beloved Tigerlily, who was my kitty companion for 21 years!
