Ice Robots

Mini received several robot-related items in his stocking this year, and among them was thisrobot ice cube tray from Fred and Friends. I’m happy to report that it works surprisingly well, and the ice cubes come out remarkably detailed in their robotic-ness.

I have heard if you melt white chocolate chips and pour them in, you can make little robot candies.

See, now why on earth would this not occur to me? Of course, the kid does not even like chocolate. Maybe if I could melt goldfish crackers and pour them into robot shapes . . .

Maybe you could do it with Jell-O? (I don’t eat Jell-O so I don’t really know) Or those pastel candies you get at Michael’s, or butterscotch chips or something.

Or maybe crayons. How cool would that be…robot crayons?
