Bad Gal Plum Mascara By BeneFit

I never wanted to be your weekend lover, I only want to see you laughing in the purple mascara.

I never wanted to be your weekend lover, I only want to see you laughing in the purple mascara.

Before you ask, yes, Bad Gal Plum mascara by BeneFit is purple mascara. You probably think that the only person who would want to wear purple mascara is Prince. Or the Artist formerly known as Prince. Or my grandmother. Or Barney. But you’re wrong. Why would you want to use purple mascara? Well, let me tell you: though purple mascara looks almost identical to black mascara on the lash, the effect it has on how your eyes appear is very different. Purple mascara brings out the whites of your eyes and sets off the blue (if you have blue eyes) and provides contrast to the green (if you have green eyes) in a way that black cannot do. Purple mascara is like your secret beauty weapon friend, if you let it be. Purple mascara wants to be your secret weapon, why won’t you let it?

Hmmm. I want to believe, but I am skeptical.

Does it matter what color eye shadow you are wearing? I wear taupe and grey with cool colored clothes, and taupe and brown with warm colored clothes.

Yeah, you cannot tell that it’s purple on the lash. You would have to look very very closely to be able to tell. It looks basically black. I’m telling you, you need to try it!

Okay, I just bought it. I need mascara anyway, and I don’t want to hurt purple mascara’s feelings my refusing its wish to be my secret weapon.
