La Roche-Posay Nutritic Lip Balm
I have discussed the wonders of La Roche-Posay products before, but only recently has the brand been made available on a mass scale in the United States. You can find an ever-increasing number of products from this French skincare brand at CVS stores nationwide, and I recently tried this lip balm after Mr. Right-Click suggested that perhaps my chapped lips needed some kind of special treatment. I have to say this lip balm is pretty fantastic–it’s very smooth, with a non-objectionable, neutral scent, and (best of all) seems to keep my lips moisturized for much longer periods of time than my other standby products. The only thing I’m not raving about with this sunscreen is the price–at $12.90, it might seem rather expensive for a drugstore brand, and I hope this doesn’t get in the way of its marketability in the United States. Because this is a semantics issue: La Roche-Posay is a premium brand on a par with stuff sold at Sephora (and, in many cases, superior to stuff sold at Sephora), even if they are stocking it at CVS here. At any rate, I’m a fan and will keep moisturizing my lips for as long as I can find it.
